Local Government Act - Exclusion of Public

To move “That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act".

That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

Review of Decision to Terminate an Introductory Tenancy (2 - 18/19) (A090)

Minutes:

Pursuant to Minute No. 6 (Appeals and Regulatory Committee 2018/19) the Committee considered a request from a tenant for a review of the Council’s decision to terminate an introductory tenancy.

 

The appeal was heard in accordance with the Council’s Introductory Tenant’s Procedure. The tenant did not attend the meeting.

 

* RESOLVED –

 

That the officers’ decision to seek possession be upheld.

Review of Hackney Carriage /Private Hire Driver's Licence - Christopher Higgins (A230)

Minutes:

The Licensing Enforcement Officer submitted a report for Members to consider a review of the Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver’s Licence held by Mr Christopher Higgins.

 

Mr Higgins did not attend the meeting.

 

* RESOLVED –

 

That Mr Higgins be issued with a formal warning.

Review of Hackney Carriage /Private Hire Driver's Licence - Dean Allcock (A230)

That consideration of the review be deferred to the meeting of the Appeals and Regulatory Committee on 30 May, 2018.

Application for Private Hire Driver's Licence by Daniel Ray Lowe (A410)

Minutes:

The Licensing Enforcement Officer submitted a report for Members to consider whether an application for a Private Hire Driver’s Licence by Mr Daniel Lowe could proceed.

 

Mr Lowe and his representative attended the meeting.

 

* RESOLVED –

 

That Mr Lowe’s application for a Private Hire Driver’s Licence be allowed to proceed, initially for a probationary period of 12 months, and commencing with 11 penalty points.
