Local Government Act - Exclusion of Public

To move “That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act".

That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the ground that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

Review of Decision to Extend an Introductory Tenancy (19 - 18/19) (A100)

Minutes:

The Committee considered a request from a tenant for a review of the Council’s decision to extend an introductory tenancy.

 

The appeal was heard in accordance with the Council’s Introductory Tenant’s Procedure.  The tenant did not attend the meeting.

 

* RESOLVED –

 

That the officers’ decision to extend the introductory tenancy be upheld.

Review of a Decision to Terminate an Introductory Tenancy (20 - 18/19) (A090)

That consideration of the review be deferred to the meeting of the Appeals and Regulatory Committee on 31 October, 2018 to provide opportunity for the tenant to attend.

New Application for Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver's Licence for Mohammed Imran (A410)

Minutes:

The Licensing Officer submitted a report for Members to consider whether an application for a Hackney Carriage / Private Hire Driver’s Licence by Mr Mohammed Imran could proceed.

 

Mr Imran attended the meeting.

 

* RESOLVED –

 

That Mr Imran’s application for a Hackney Carriage / Private Hire Driver’s Licence be refused.
