Local Government Act - Exclusion of Public

To move “That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act".

Review of a Decision to Terminate an Introductory Tenancy (33 - 18/19) (A090)

Minutes:

The Committee considered a request from a tenant for a review of the Council’s decision to terminate an introductory tenancy.

 

The appeal was heard in accordance with the Council’s Introductory Tenant’s Procedure. The tenant attended the meeting.

 

* RESOLVED –

 

That the officers’ decision to seek possession be upheld.

Application for Hackney Carriage / Private Hire Driver's Licence - Muhammad Haleem (A410)

Minutes:

The Licensing Officer submitted a report for Members to consider whether an application for a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver’s Licence by Mr Muhammed Haleem could proceed.

 

Mr Haleem and his representative attended the meeting.

 

* RESOLVED –

 

That Mr Haleem’s application for a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver’s Licence be allowed to proceed, initially for a period of 12 months, with the awarding of ten penalty points (gradually reducing to zero points by 2026 provided no further incidents occur) and subject to the completion of the application process.
