Local Government Act 1972 - Exclusion of Public

To move “That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act".

That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

Application for Private Hire Driver's Licence - Gary Foster (A410)

Minutes:

The Licensing Officer submitted a report for Members to consider an application for a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver’s Licence by Mr Gary Foster.

 

Mr Foster attended the meeting.

 

*RESOLVED –

 

That Mr Foster be granted a probationary licence for a period of twelve months, and awarded five conviction points.

 

20.

Review of Decision to Terminate an Introductory Tenancy (1 - 18/19) (A090)

Minutes:

The Committee considered a request from a tenant for a review of the Council’s decision to terminate an introductory tenancy.

 

The appeal was heard in accordance with the Council’s Introductory Tenant’s Procedure. The tenant did not attend the meeting.

 

*RESOLVED –

 

That the officers’ decision to seek possession be upheld, but the implementation of the decision be suspended on payment of the current weekly rent plus £20 per week towards the arrears, until the arrears are cleared.

Review of Hackney Carriage / Private Hire Driver's Licence - Dean Allcock (A230)

Minutes:

The Licensing Officer submitted a report for Members to consider a review of the Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver’s Licence for Mr Dean Allcock.

 

Mr Allock attended the meeting.

 

* RESOLVED –

 

That Mr Allock be issued with eight penalty points and a formal warning as to his future conduct.
