We have concerns with the quality of the windows and doors particularly with regard to health and safety and we feel that we are not being listened to. Our concerns relate to the security of the locks, the quality of the double glazing, the sealant around the windows and the ability to use the locks on the windows.

Dear Mrs Pinder
Re: Petition in relation to window works, Belmont Drive.
I refer to your correspondence in connection with the petition that you presented to the Council in respect of recent window & door replacement works carried out to Council properties on Belmont Drive.
Thank you for bringing the resident’s concerns in relation to these works to our attention, all of which we take seriously.
In order to deal with the issues identified we intend to visit every household, that had a door and/or windows fitted, individually, to discuss any matters of concern with each tenant.
At the same time we can carry out an inspection of the new windows & doors to identify and arrange any works to any outstanding defect not previously identified, all to the satisfaction of the tenant.
We apologise for any issues or poor service that affected tenants feel that they have received during these works and look to resolve any outstanding matters as quickly as possible.
