Purpose:

A paper providing options for the future service delivery method for the procurement service

Decision:

(1)

That approval be given for Chesterfield Borough Council to join the NHS Procurement consortium for a period of 3 Years at an annual fee of £39,000, conditional on a comprehensive Service Level Agreement being developed by the Business Transformation Manager in consultation with the Senior Leadership Team and Corporate Management Team to capture all foreseeable requirements, and agreed with the NHS Procurement Consortium.

That a 0.5FTE Client Officer role be established to support the new procurement arrangements and to support the work of the current PPP Client Officer.
