That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

Review of Hackney Carriage / Private Hire Driver's Licence - Saleem Najib (A410)

Minutes:

The Licensing Manager submitted a report for Members to consider a request from Mr S Najib to request an exemption on his Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver’s Licence from the requirement to accept passengers with an assistance dog.

 

*RESOLVED -

 

1.   That Mr Najib be allowed an exemption from the requirement to accept passengers with an assistance dog.

 

2.   That medical evidence to support the continuation of the exemption be submitted along with the normal medical renewal papers each time they are due.
