That the minutes of the meeting of the Appeals and Regulatory Committee held on 19 February, 2020 be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

Local Government Act - Exclusion of Public

To move “That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act".

Application for Private Hire Drivers Licence Paul Fennel (A410)

Minutes:

The Licensing Enforcement Officer submitted a report for Members to consider whether an application for a Private Hire Driver’s Licence by Mr Fennel could proceed.

 

Mr Fennel attended the meeting.

 

*RESOLVED –

 

That Mr Fennel’s application for a Private Hire Driver’s Licence be allowed to proceed, initially for a probationary period of 12 months.

Application For Hackney Carriage Driver's License: Nouman Shahid (A410)

Minutes:

The Licensing Enforcement Officer submitted a report for Members to consider whether an application for a Hackney Carriage Driver’s Licence by Mr Shahid could proceed.

 

Mr Shahid and his representative attended the meeting.

 

*RESOLVED –

 

That Mr Shahid’s application for a Hackney Carriage Driver’s Licence be allowed to proceed, initially for a probationary period of 12 months.
