Local Government Act 1972 - Exclusion of Public To move “That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act".
Part 2 (Non Public Information) Minutes: RESOLVED –
That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act. |

Application for Private Hire Driver's Licence - Zain Ali (A410) Minutes: The Licensing Officer submitted a report for Members to consider whether an application for a Private Hire Driver’s Licence by Mr Zain Ali could proceed.
Mr Ali attended the meeting.
* RESOLVED –
That Mr Ali’s application for a Private Hire Driver’s Licence be allowed to proceed, initially for a probationary period of 12 months, with the awarding of 13 penalty points, reducing to zero points 36 months after the commencement of the licence provided no further incidents occur. |

Application for Private Hire Driver's Licence - Usman Shahid (A410) Minutes: The Licensing Manager submitted a report for Members to consider whether an application for a Private Hire Driver’s Licence by Mr Usman Shahid could proceed.
Mr Shahid attended the meeting.
* RESOLVED –
That Mr Shahid’s application for a Private Hire Driver’s Licence be allowed to proceed, initially for a probationary period of 12 months, with the awarding of 11 penalty points initially, gradually reducing to zero points by 2022 provided no further incidents occur. |
