Local Government Act 1972 - Exclusion of Public

To move “That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act".

RESOLVED –

 

That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

Application For Hackney Carriage / Private Hire Driver's Licence - Anthony Ashley (A410)

Minutes:

The Licensing Enforcement Officer submitted a report for Members to consider whether an application for a Hackney Carriage / Private Hire Driver’s Licence by Mr Anthony Ashley could proceed.

 

Mr Ashley and his representative attended the meeting.

 

* RESOLVED –

 

That Mr Ashley’s application for a Hackney Carriage / Private Hire Driver’s Licence be allowed to proceed, initially for a probationary period of 12 months, with the awarding of 11 penalty points.

Application for Private Hire Driver's Licence - Arslan Khan (A410)

Minutes:

The Licensing Enforcement Officer submitted a report for Members to consider whether an application for a Private Hire Driver’s Licence by Mr Arslan Khan could proceed.

 

Mr Khan attended the meeting.

 

* RESOLVED –

 

That Mr Khan’s application for a Private Hire Driver’s Licence be refused.

Minutes:

The Licensing Enforcement Officer submitted a report for Members to consider whether an application for a Private Hire Driver’s Licence by Mr Alan Cockings could proceed.

 

Mr Cockings and his representative attended the meeting.

That Mr Cocking’s application for a Contract Private Hire Driver’s Licence be allowed to proceed, initially for a probationary period of 12 months, with the awarding of 5 penalty points.
