RESOLVED –

That the minutes of the meeting of the Appeals and Regulatory Committee held on 25 October, 2023 be approved as a correct record and signed by the chair.

To move “That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act".

RESOLVED –

That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

The Licensing Enforcement Officer submitted a report for Members to consider whether Mr College could continue to be a licensed private hire driver.

*RESOLVED –

That Mr College could continue to be a licensed private hire driver, but a written warning would be issued and go on his record.

The Licensing Enforcement Officer submitted a report for Members to consider whether an application for a Private Hire Driver’s Licence by Mr Khan could proceed.

Mr Khan did not attend the meeting.

*RESOLVED –

That the meeting be adjourned until the 29 November, 2023 as requested by Mr Khan.
