That the minutes of the meeting of the Appeals and Regulatory Committee on 11 September 2024 be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

RESOLVED –

That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

The Licensing Enforcement Officer submitted a report for Members to consider whether an application for a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver’s Licence could proceed.

*RESOLVED –

That the application for a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver’s Licence shall be allowed to proceed and upon the granting of any such licence, the Licensing team to endorse the licence with 6 penalty points under the Council’s Penalty Point Scheme, reducing by three points every year.
