That the minutes of the meeting of the Appeals and Regulatory Committee held on 15 January, 2025 be approved as a correct record and signed by the chair.

To move “That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act".

RESOLVED –

That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

The Licensing Enforcement Officer submitted a report for Members to review the licence of a Hackney Carriage / Private Hire Driver.

*RESOLVED –

That the applicant could retain their Hackney Carriage / Private Hire Driver license, but the Licensing team were to endorse the licence with 8 penalty points under the Council’s Penalty Point Scheme, reducing by 2 points per year over 4 years.

The Licensing Enforcement Officer submitted a report for Members to review the licence of a Private Hire Driver.

That the applicant could retain their Private Hire Driver license.
