RESOLVED –

That the minutes of the meeting of the Appeals and Regulatory Committee held on 2 March 2022 be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

To move “That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act".

RESOLVED –

That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

The HR and OD Business Partner submitted a report for Members to determine an appeal against a grievance decision registered by a member of staff in Housing Services.

The appeal was heard in accordance with the Council’s Managing Grievance Policy and Procedure. The appellant and his representative attended the meeting. The Environmental Services Manager attended to present the investigating officer case.

*RESOLVED –

That on balance the appeal against the grievance decision be upheld.
