Decision:

Councillor Bellamy declared an interest as he had previously been involved with Brampton Rovers Football Club, and he left the meeting prior to consideration of the application.

 

Councillor Jeannie Barr declared an interest as the application was within her ward, and she left the meeting prior to consideration of the application.

Decision:

* That the application for a New Premises Licence by Craig Botham, in respect of Brampton Rovers, Newbold Back Lane, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S40 4RW be determined by the Committee, as it was satisfied that the applicant had complied with the requirement to advertise the application by displaying a sufficient number of notices along the perimeter of the site adjoining the highway.

 

* That the application for a New Premises Licence be granted in accordance with the application subject to:

 

(a)     the relevant mandatory conditions

 

(b)     the conditions set out in the operating schedule submitted with the application but modified by including the following additional conditions (necessary to promote all four licensing objectives):

 

(i)           That the hours for the supply of alcohol be restricted to 12.00 to 24.00 Monday to Sunday (and not as stated in the application);

(ii)          That the applicant ensures effective monitoring and control of off-sales, particularly sales to people not attending events at the premises;

(iii)        That appropriate signage be displayed to prevent customers going from the licensed premises and onto the playing pitches with alcohol.
