Decision:

That the Minutes of the Licensing Committee meeting held on 6 May, 2020 be signed by the Chair as a correct record.

Exclusion of Public

To move “That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 and under regulation 14(2) of the Licensing Act 2003 (Hearings) Regulations 2005 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 7 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.”

Decision:

That the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 7 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act and pursuant to Regulation 14(2) of the Licensing Act 2003 (Hearings) Regulations 2005.

Application for a Variation of a Premises Licence by Barlborough Property One Ltd in respect of Vibe and the Loft, 21-23 Holywell Street, Chesterfield, S41 7SA (LC180)

Decision:

* RESOLVED –

 

That the application for a variation of the Premises Licence by Barlborough Property One Ltd in respect of Vibe and The Loft, 21-23 Holywell Street, Chesterfield, S41 7SA be granted subject to:

 

(a)     the relevant mandatory conditions

 

(b)     the conditions set out in the operating schedule of the existing licence

 

(c)     the following additional conditions:

 

i     All security staff at the premises shall wear body worn cameras whilst on duty. Such cameras must be in working order and filming at all times that they are worn. Such cameras must also be capable of storing images which can be replayed and viewed (under the prevention of crime and disorder licensing objective);

 

ii    sensors must be fitted to all fire exits to alert staff when these exits are used (under the prevention of crime and disorder licensing objective).
