The Mayor referred to recent Mayoral engagements which had taken place virtually to keep in touch with local organisations, such as with the Samaritans.

He expressed his hope for brighter times for residents, businesses and communities as the borough recovered from the current pandemic.

The Mayor thanked everybody who had supported events for the Mayor’s appeal, which had raised a total of £6,798 for his charity, Age Concern Chesterfield and District.
