The Chief Executive submitted a report to inform members about the scope and nature of the devolution deal signed on 30 August 2022 by Derbyshire County Council, Derby City Council, Nottinghamshire County Council and Nottingham City Council (“the four upper tier councils”) with the Government.

RESOLVED –

That Chesterfield Borough Council notes the devolution deal and the steps currently being taken by the four upper tier councils to establish an East Midlands Combined County Authority.
