* That the application for a New Premises Licence by Craig Botham, in respect of Brampton Rovers, Newbold Back Lane, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S40 4RW be declared null and void.

The Committee considered, having had regard to representations made by local residents, submissions by the applicant and his representative, Regulation 25 of the Licensing Act 2003 and relevant case law, that the applicant had failed to comply with the requirement to advertise the application by displaying a sufficient number of notices along the perimeter of the site adjoining the highway, and that this was more significant than just a minor failure.
