The Planning Committee is responsible overall for the granting and refusal of planning applications, Listed Building Consent and the regulatory functions of the Council.
The Planning Committee meets every three weeks and has now returned to in person meetings. The meetings are open to the public however the Council is still taking a cautious approach to the lifting of restrictions. If you wish to attend a Planning Committee meeting to observe, please contact democratic.services@chesterfield.gov.uk by 12 noon two working days before the meeting to arrange for the necessary seating arrangements to be put in place.
Committee reports are available for public inspection five working days before each committee meeting and we aim to publish the committee minutes within five working days after each meeting.
