Notice is hereby given that the Executive is to be asked to make a key decision on 20th December 2013 in respect of the following
TITLE: Derby and Derbyshire Joint Committee for Economic Prosperity
SERVICE AREA: Regeneration
PURPOSE OF DECISION: To secure the Council’s participation in the Derby and Derbyshire Joint Committee for Economic Prosperity in order to benefit the future economic development of the area
REASON WHY IT IS IMPRACTICAL TO GIVE 28 DAYS NOTICE OF THE KEY DECISION: Timescale - Cabinet approval is required from all Derbyshire authorities to enable the first meeting of the Joint Committee to take place in January 2014.
This notice is being given in accordance with regulation 10 of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2012 in that it is not possible to give 28 days’ notice of a Key decision.
