TITLE: Northern Gateway
SERVICE AREA: Regeneration
PURPOSE OF DECISION: To enable the delivery of development of the Northern Gateway site as a key element of the Chesterfield Town Centre Masterplan and to maintain the vitality and viability of the town centre by strengthening its role as a key visitor destination.
REASON WHY IT IS IMPRACTICAL TO GIVE 28 DAYS NOTICE OF THE
KEY DECISION: Timescale - Cabinet approval is required to avoid delay and to allow the project to continue to move forward to enable the Council to understand its options for the redevelopment of the Northern Gateway.
This notice is being given in accordance with regulation 10 of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2012 in that it is not possible to give 28 days’ notice of a Key decision.
