Minutes of the Meetings of the Appeals and Regulatory Committee held on 5 July, 2017.

RESOLVED –

That the minutes of the meeting of the Appeals and Regulatory Committee held on 5 July, 2017 be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

To move “That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the ground that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act".

RESOLVED –

That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the ground that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

The Licensing Officer submitted a report for Members to consider whether an application for a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver’s Licence by Mr Tahir Mehmood could proceed.

Mr Mehmood and his representative attended the meeting and provided references which were read by the Committee.

* RESOLVED –

That Mr Mehmood’s application for a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver’s Licence be refused.
