Minutes of the Meeting of the Appeals and Regulatory Committee held on 16 August, 2017.

RESOLVED –

That the minutes of the meeting of the Appeals and Regulatory Committee held on 16 August, 2017 be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

To move “That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act".

RESOLVED –

That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the ground that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

The Licensing Officer submitted a report for Members to consider a review of the Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver’s Licence held by Mr Lakhbir Singh Rohle.

Mr Rohle and his representative attended the meeting.

* RESOLVED –

That Mr Rohle’s Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver’s Licence be suspended for a period of six weeks with immediate effect and that he undertake further training on the Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Policy.
