The problems with New Betwell Street are escalating and getting worse. Everyday there are large groups of people there drinking, smoking substances, being abusive, engaging in indecent and sexual behaviour all in view of the public, even young children. This should not be happening, it is about time the council or the police or anyone really stopped these people from gathering there and engaging in this behaviour as it is very upsetting and uncomfortable for the public. Something needs to happen, if there are patrols then they need to be done more frequently as it is not stopping them. The state of the place is absolutely appalling.
